Evolution Chocolate exists because of my own life long passion for all things creative which I’ve exercised in many different ways. When I was much younger I was loved crafting and there were very few crafts I didn’t try. While many of those interests have come and gone the one thing that has withstood the test of time is my love of chocolate-making.
It was about 30 years ago when the chocolate bug bit me. My love of cooking and baking, combined with my love of crafts came to a beautiful marriage in chocolate-making.
Back then I used chocolate compounds and craft grade molds to make my chocolates, setting up shop at all the holidays and then lovingly packaging them up to give as gifts to friends and family.

My life has changed over the years, not only in my outer world but my inner world as well. One of those changes is that a few years ago I married my beloved husband Peter, a true chocoholic!
When you’re married to someone who is a chocoholic you discover that you really need to up your game. So not long after we were married I decided to learn how to temper real chocolate. During the process of learning about tempering, I discovered the world of chocolate-making on a whole new level and it fired my passion even more.
As a Reiki Practitioner, I have a belief that the energy you put into what you say and do can and will affect the receiver. Words laced with anger will be felt by another person no matter how softly you say them. Because of this I have learned to be conscious of what I am feeling as I prepare meals for my family. I focus on the love I feel for them so that when they eat the meal I have prepared for them they feel the love that I have put into it.
Besides, food prepared with love just tastes better.
With this in mind, all the chocolates I make are created with healing and loving energy as well as home-made fillings so that anyone who receives Evolution Chocolates will be enchanted by the wonderful flavors and blessed with positive energy.
